11" x 9" ~Anime and trading card game fans, this is a treat as this is an amazing collectible that is not very common and only went out to dealers like GameStop, etc... and was never released for sale.
This unique piece of history is the top-selling trading card game in the world recognized by Guinness World Records. There was only a very limited amount found. The interesting thing is they were made before the game was even released and it's in English. The game was released in Japan in 1999 but the USA release got delayed until 2002 so they were geared up and ready to go well before then. Wonder what the delay was?
This piece is so bright and has incredible graphics! It was made by artist Kazuki Takahashi, who just died on July 4th, 2022. Rest in peace. His passing makes this piece even more collectible as they are continuing the trading card game with obviously a new artist. Interesting information about the game can be found here:
These are plastic and pretty indestructible. The clings are applied by using wet towels and some dish soap on the glass (nice wet film on the glass). Then you apply the cling top to bottom and use a credit card to get the bubbles out. They can be taken off and on and moved forever!
